Our aim is to provide professional Powerboat Training by friendly and caring, fully
qualified Powerboat instructors. We are based on the tidal section of the River
Thames at Greenwich, London UK, which provides an excellent environment for
powerboat training. Click here and here (larger scale) for map of where we run the courses. All instruction is carried out in accordance with the Royal Yachting Association. A profile of our Principal Our Principal, Andy Maybury started his boating career back in the early 60's driving a small speedboat along the River Thames whilst his father worked nearby. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since those days but following a career in the Metropolitan Police, Andy decided his next vocation would involve sports boating. He soon successfully passed all the R.Y.A. theory examinations up to Yacht Master Offshore and is also an Advanced Powerboat Instructor, Personal Watercraft Instructor and GMDSS/DSC Radio Assessor, as well as a Coastal Skipper (Power). |
